Maui Song

I had the honor to do the Look Development (Texture / shading) of this amazing sequence of Moana and the privilege to learn a lot from my Mentor Dylan VanWormer (super talented guy) and my supervisor Larry Wu, who were always there to help me. After creating the textures and shading, I integrated the 2D animation inside the multiple 3D panels (each animation frame had an opacity mask automatic generated in Nuke). The textures were also animated.
